A discus cage is not optional equipment — NFHS and NCAA rules require one to host a legal competition, and it is the single piece of throws infrastructure that keeps spectators and other events safe. The High School Aluminum cage meets NFHS requirements at the lowest entry cost. Brutus adds a heavier frame and netting for programs in high-wind sites. The NCAA cage meets college specification. All cages ship freight and most schools purchase them on a district PO.
