Summer Pole Vault
Series
The 2026 season has wrapped. See you in 2027.
Where Your Money Goes
Straight back into the runway. Every dollar funds poles and gear for vaulters across East Idaho — because nobody should miss out on flying just because the equipment costs more than a used car.
Where the Work
Gets Done.
Private pit, full runway, standards, and crossbar — everything a serious vaulter needs. For speed and track work, we occasionally utilize local tracks to give athletes the full training experience.
Dillon Dopp
Pole vault is Dillon's sport. Not a job — a calling. After competing as a pole vaulter and decathlete at Southern Utah University, he came home and built three programs from scratch at schools that had none. Eleven years of coaching and he's still on the runway every day.
In 2017 he founded the East Idaho Pole Vault Academy and invented an inflatable pit that lets athletes train indoors in any school gym — making year-round pole vault actually accessible for the first time in the region.
His philosophy: pole vault can't be mastered in a 3-month season. Like gymnastics, it takes years of consistent work. The Summer Series exists because athletes deserve more than 12 weeks a year on the runway.
